TOURISM

Tourism Development’s key service’s include supporting industry growth and new product development, building business partnerships and providing community collaborative support, undertaking project development & management, research and providing funding support.

Strong working relationship with the Private Sector are facilitated whether working with individual companies, community interest companies, associations and multi-partner organisations.

Building capacity and facilitating public and private partnerships is fundamental in tourism related economic development in order to aid industry growth. Work currently focuses on rural and coastal development, and sailing events. All development work is undertaken in a sustainable and environmentally sensitive manner.
