The GlaxoSmithKline Enterprise Fund supports sustainable job-creating initiatives in Ayrshire.
The fund is a collaborative venture involving GlaxoSmithKline, Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, North Ayrshire Council and Business Gateway.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The fund is available to;
- Anyone wishing to establish a new business in Ayrshire
- Existing businesses that are looking to expand
If you can demonstrate that you'll be creating new, sustainable, quality full-time jobs to help regenerate the local community, then you may be eligible to apply to the fund for a grant to assist you in your project.
Applications must be able to show that the business activity will be based in Ayrshire. However, there is no requirement to live in the area. Projects supporting the development of high-tech or manufacturing based jobs are particularly welcome, but all applicants from all industrial and commercial sectors will be considered.
Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry will manage the fund and a Fund Management Panel will assess project proposals. The maximum amount available for any single application is £5000 per net sustainable job created.
