On the 18th of March North Ayrshire Council Business Development ran an event for local businesses seeking to find out more about methods of raising investment in today’s economic climate.

The Science of Securing Investment Masterclass was held at Gailes Hotel in Irvine and attended by 10 growing companies. The masterclass was facilitated by two well known Scottish entrepreneurs, Elie Chilton and Alastair Balfour who provided an interesting insight into the workings of the funding marketplace, which was specifically targeted towards the attendees.

Feedback from the event has been wholly positive and it is encouraging to hear from some of the attendees that they have already put into action some of the information learned.
