IMPROVE YOUR PRESENTATION SKILLS!

So there’s a recession– and a lot of gloom around about business. But what are YOU going to do to pull your business through and be ready for the better times ahead?

NAC Business Development are holding a FREE event on the 6th March at The Menzies Hotel, Irvine, which could help. WINNING BUSINESS THROUGH TOUGH TIMES is a three-hour seminar– funded by North Ayrshire Council– specifically designed to equip you to have tough conversations and make the right decisions in this grim economic climate.

Hosted by Bill McFarlan, a renown broadcaster, journalist, author– and Managing Director of leading Scottish communications consultancy The Broadcasting Business– it will show you how to;

Tell your company’s story clearly and vividly.
Structure your message to customers and bankers alike.
Offer commitment in uncertain times.
Speak positively, but realistically, about your company.
Build confidence in your ability to deliver.

Bill spent 25 years in front of the cameras of BBC, STV, Sky and Setanta – with a journalistic career that took him from writing wedding captions at the East Kilbride News to presenting BBC Breakfast News in London. His company has for 20 years travelled the world, helping business leaders to tell their message to the media – or build their presentation skills. In 2007, he led the presentation skills training for 6 months with the team that won the 2014 Commonwealth Games for Glasgow.

The session begins at 9 – 9.30am and ends at 12pm at the Menzies Hotel Irvine, with coffee from 9am and a buffet lunch to follow at 12pm. Places are limited to 60, therefore early booking is a must. To book your place, respond to this e-mail by contacting hblades@north-ayrshire.gov.uk, and make your booking today.
