1. The Supplier Development Programme -
Along with the 3 Ayrshire Councils there are a total of 15 Local Authorities signed up to the SDP, which aim to assist businesses improve their performance in winning contracts with Scottish public sector organisations. The SDP also aims to promote the 'Suppliers’ Register' to procurement departments across Scotland as a valuable resource of suppliers. The Councils of North, South and East Ayrshire and Glasgow City have already agreed to use it when searching for companies to ask to bid for the three quotes system. The Register can also be used business to business, when looking at collaboration tendering. Registering will give access to all the information on the website, eligibility for events and you will automatically receive the quarterly newsletter.
