YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT

Youth Employment Support (YES) initiative

The North Ayrshire Youth Employment Support (YES) initiative has been designed to provide local companies with the opportunity to employ a young person (16-24) with a wage subsidy of 75%.

We are looking for local companies to work with us to provide the young people of North Ayrshire with the opportunity to experience a 6 month job.

The key benefits to your business from this initiative are;

• We will ensure that the young candidate will be job ready when they move into employment with your company.
• We will provide a 75% contribution of gross wage costs for 35 hours a week, covering the 6 month period.
• Each participant will have access to additional funding to support on-going training needs whilst in the role.
• We will provide ongoing support throughout the young person’s job.
