SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

SKILLS FOR GROWTH PROGRAMME:

This grant programme will support businesses in North Ayrshire to train new and existing employees. It also addresses issues of skills and growth development in New & Community and Social Enterprises. The programme will assist in 3 areas:

Employment Sustainability: training required to develop or sustain basic employment skills, bridging the gap from unemployment to employment.
Workforce Development: developing new skills required to sustain or increase growth potential of the business.

Entrepreneurial Skills for Management & Business Start-Up: Providing business management with entrepreneurial ways of adding business growth through the use of new technology, e-business, improved supply chain, more skilled/innovative management practices and succession planning.
