SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

SKILLS FOR GROWTH PROGRAMME:

The Skills for Growth Programme is part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). Click here to find out more about ESF and ERDF funding.

This grant programme will support businesses in North Ayrshire to train new and existing employees. It also addresses issues of skills and growth development in New & Community and Social Enterprises. The programme will assist in 3 areas:

Employment Sustainability: Training required to develop or sustain basic employment skills, bridging the gap from unemployment to employment.
Workforce Development: Developing new skills required to sustain or increase growth potential of the business.

Entrepreneurial Skills for Management & Business Start-Up: Providing business management with entrepreneurial ways of adding business growth through the use of new technology, e-business, improved supply chain, more skilled/innovative management practices and succession planning.
