Our mission is to continue the substantial progress already made in attracting new industry and investment, supporting the growth and development of new and existing businesses, improving the skills base and generating employment opportunities.

In addition to assisting Inward Business Investment, the Economic Development Department provides access to our Services to Business including advice and grants as well as actively supporting national and local initiatives for the development of Tourism, Rural and Community issues in our area.

The Economic Development Team is committed to the ongoing regeneration of North Ayrshire and to the improvement and development of its economy.	The team deliver a package of employability programmes to give companies in North Ayrshire the opportunity to recruit well-trained and motivated individuals.
